Q. What is the difference between the LeChat ranges Dare to Wear and Perfect Match?
A. The Dare to Wear products are all Nail Polishes whereas The Perfect Match range contains both a Gel Polish and a Nail Polish of the same colour.
Q. When do products expire?
A. This may vary however most products typically expire one year after opening date.
Q. Are products tested on animals?

Q. What is the difference between UV and LED Lamps?
A. LED lamps use technology that’s similar but more efficient to UV lamps and LED nail curing lamps set Gel Polish in under half the time of UV lamps. They don’t generate heat or emit UVAs or UVBs, and you don’t need to replace the bulbs like you do with UV lamps
Q. How does the colour change in the mood polishes?
A. Mood polish uses new thermal temperature-activated technology developed by LeChat. This means that the nail colour changes based on body and climate temperatures.
Q. What does Gelee ‘3 in 1’ colour powder mean?
A. The Gelee 3in1 Colour Powder by LeChat is three versatile systems packed into one jar:
1) Gel System (use over a wet gel)
2) Acrylic System (use with monomer)
3) Dipping System (use with an adhesive)
Q. What should I do if my gel brush hardens?
A. If you soak your brush in Remover, this will get rid of the hardened gel.
Q. Why are my nails sticky after curing?
A. Nails typically have a tacky residue due to the Gel Polish curing in the light. For the best results, wipe nails with a cleanser or lint-free wipe after curing.
Q. After I have finished my manicure the tip edge is bumpy/rough, what can I do?
After you have completed your manicure and cleansed the sticky layer away you can file and buff the nail edge to tidy it up. Once happy, cleanse and re top coat the entire nail and ensure you recap the tip edge, cure and cleanse.
Q. Why does my gel polish have ripples in it?
A. You may have not aloud enough time for curing the nail or the gel polish application may be too thick. For the best results, apply the gel polish in two to three thin layers.
Q. Why does my nail polish look streaky?
A. Before using, shake the bottle well to mix the colour, especially if the bottle has not been used after a long period of time.
Q. Will my nails come off in the bath or washing up?
No, all our products ensure that your nail should stay perfectly in place.
Q. Is soaking my nails in acetone safe?
Yes. Other than slightly drying your fingers, soaking your nails in remover/acetone in moderation is perfectly safe. The acetone can’t be absorbed into your system. If you find your fingers becoming dry try applying petroleum jelly to your fingertips and cuticles before you soak them. This will protect your fingertips and stop them drying out. Applying cuticle oil every day will also help.
Q. My nails are not coming off after soaking them for 5 minutes, why?
A. Have you filed the tip edge to break the seal prior to soaking? Sometimes you need to soak for longer and retry after a further 3-5minutes. You will need to pick slightly at the edge to lift the shield.
Q. Why do I have a problem with my Gel Polish peeling?
A. This may occur for a number of reasons:
1) The nail may not have been cleaned, natural oils on the surface must be removed thoroughly before application
2) The base coat may be applied too thick or unevenly applied.
3) Applying polish in a hot environment can cause the gel to become thicker.
4) Applying polish in a cold environment can cause the gel to become thinner.
5) The free-edge may not be capped entirely.
6) Excess gel builds up and needs to be removed before placing the nail under a lamp.
Q. Can I use acetone or alcohol to clean my gel nails?
A. No, it is more suitable to use cleansers and lint-free wipes.

These taxes are NOT included in the International shipping fee and orders will not be refunded because of unwanted additional fees.
